EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS & TIMES

Why wait for Election Day?  Visit any Wake County early voting location to cast your ballot for the 2008 General Election.  Here are just a few reasons why early voting is easy and convenient:  

• You can vote at any of the 15 early voting locations throughout Wake County.
• With day, evening and weekend voting hours, early voting fits your schedule.
• Moved recently?  We can update your address before you vote.
• Missed the voter registration deadline?  Qualified voters can register and vote at the same time.

Extended Hours for Saturday, Nov. 1
The Wake County Board of Elections board met on October 31, 2008, at 10:00 a.m.  By unanimous vote, the board voted to exented the hours of operation for all 15 Early Voting sites, on Saturday, November 1, 2008.  All 15 Wake County Early voting sites will be open on Saturday, November 1, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  All voters IN LINE at 5:00 p.m., will be permitted to vote.  Voters arriving after 5:00 p.m., and not in line may vote in their asisgned precinct on Election Day, November 4, 2008, from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
